Five wide-span gantry cranes for the Urals | |||||
Baltkran will deliver five wide-span gantry cranes for a large Russian metallurgical group.
Some decades ago Baltkran already delivered its gantry cranes with lattice portal structure for this customer. The cranes showed excellent performance in long operation, that is why the customer has chosen reliable, proven and efficient technology of Baltkran again. Lattice portal structure withstands higher wind loads as well as reduces runway costs and operational expenses. State-of-the-art control system provides a possibility to install a unit for handling heavy and long cargos in tandem as well as distance diagnostics.
Cranes having capacity 20t and bridge lengths about 50 m boast smooth movement prolonging components life and ensuring high performance.
All the cranes will be delivered till the end of 2019 that will allow the group to increase volumes and efficiency of rolled steel handling.
