One more container crane for Samara | |||||

Baltkran will again deliver a container crane for a large transhipment hub on the river Volga. It will be the 30th crane delivered for different logistic centers located a short distance from the large Russian river. The cranes were delivered to Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Nizhniy Novgorod, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Volgograd, Astrakhan and other cities in the mid-Volga region. The wide span gantry crane will have two cantilevers, capacity 45 t under spreader and stacking height 3+1. It will be the third crane that Baltkran will manufacture for this terminal. The crane will handle 20,40,45’ containers as well as heavy loads. «The new crane will allow the Samara terminal to provide improved capacity and safety of container handling for its customers" said Artur Ermolaev, vice-president for marketing of Baltkran. Erection of a wide span container crane with two cantilevers, capacity 45 t, span 36 m and stacking height 5+1 is being finished in the seaport of Vladivostok for Pacific Logistics, part of Sollers group.
