One more container crane for Brest intermodal terminal

A leading Russian manufacturer received an order for double girder wide span container gantry crane for the Belarusian Railways.

It has been the ninth crane for the large intermodal terminal at the border with Europe.
The new container crane is designed for increasing capacity of Brest intermodal terminal and container flows within the frameworks of New Silk Road project from China to Europe and vice versa.

The crane capacity 45 t is equipped with a rotating trolley with effective anti-sway that will reduce load cycle time and increase efficiency at the railway terminal. The crane delivery is planned for the second half of 2018.

"We are proud of the confidence of our customers, repeat orders are the best prove of reliability and performance of our equipment", said Ms. Natalia Golovina, head of economic department of Baltkran.

Baltkran shipped a giant overhead crane capacity 360 t for Unit 3 of Indian Nuclear Power Plant Kudankulam. The crane meets strict safety requirements and will be used for assembly of critical equipment of turbine department . Is has been the 12th crane delivered to a NPP in India.
Next crane capacity 360 t for the fourth unit will be shipped till the end of this year.
