Baltkran will supply STS container crane to Holland | |||||
Holland Company processing coffee and cacao beans (Amsterdam) has ordered from crane building Russian-based Company Baltkran STS quay container crane for handling 20, 40, 45 and 48 ft containers. The crane will be erected on the assembly site on the coast of the Baltic sea channel. The crane will be delivered erected by sea to Amsterdam port WestPoint, where terminal and stacking yard are in the process of development. STS crane will unload sea vessels from Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico and Africa, as well as pick, stack and load containers to trucks. Baltkran has long experience of production and delivery cranes by sea transport. Three RMG cranes were shipped to Saint-Petersburg port in December 2007 (see the picture). These are yard container cranes with slewing trolley, wheel bogies can turn to 90 degrees, operational temperature of the cranes is from -40 up to +40. Baltkran has been producing container cranes since beginning of 90s, originally together with Noel company (FRG), and for last 12 years -independently. At the moment Baltkran's order book for this year includes 14 container cranes for different intermodal terminals.
