Baltkran won an open auction of Baltic shipyard Yantar for the delivery of four portal erecting cranes.
Yantar shipyard is carrying out the 2nd phase of reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the main facilities and production within the framework
of the state program for the development of the military-industrial complex. In accordance with the technical development plan, it is planned to dismantle
old cranes that have been in operation since the end of 1950s, and to install new cranes with articulated boom, increased lifting capacity, boom reach and
lifting height, which will improve the production capacity of the enterprise, and increased handling speeds, modern control and safety systems will make it
possible to load / unload ships twice as fast.
These universal lifting machines are designed to perform assembly and handling operations on ships at berths No. 5,6.
New articulated boom cranes will be delivered in 2021 and will replace the old BALTKRAN cranes that have been in operation since the late 1950s.
Two years ago, BALTKRAN won an auction for the 1st phase of reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the main facilities of the Yantar shipyard.
In accordance with the plan, it manufactured and installed 6 overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 40 tons and 20 tons at the plant within the framework
of the state program for the development of the military-industrial complex in terms of reconstruction and re-equipment of the main objects of energy
communications and production.
