Baltkran gets benefit from economic recovery | |||||

Intermodal terminal in Arkhangelsk is increasing its throughput. A new container crane of Baltkran will help to achieve this aim. The crane will be delivered and commissioned by Baltkran technical team before the end of this year. Double cantilever crane with double girder design features a main trolley travelling on upper flanges of main girders and a moving cabin. Capacity of the crane is 41 t, bridge length is 40 m. Crane control system developed by Baltkran will ensure smooth movements, energy saving as well as possibility to rotate container through full 360 degrees for positioning 'door to door" that will increase cargo safety. "The customer values not only energy saving features and low energy consumption but also higher degree of reliability and availability. One important feature is a system developed by Baltkran that prevents container sway and increases productivity" said Arthur Ermolaev vice-president of Baltkran.
