Baltkran is taking part in the construction of a new bridge across the Ob in Novosibirsk | |||||

Baltkran received an order for production of a wide-span girder gantry crane capacity 50 t with total bridge length 60 m for Sibmost company. The crane will operate on the site for assembly of large bridge structures, making assembly and launching of steel structures. A third road bridge with length 2 km and throughput 60000 cars per day has two over bridges and will be the largest bridge across the Ob for Novosibirsk. Lifting height of the crane is 18m. Crane portal is divided into modules which are transported by usual rail platforms and trucks. They allow changing the length of crane span with the view of further use of the crane when constructing bridges on other sites of Siberia and Far East. Frequency control drives of the crane assure smooth operation as well as significant saving of energy during crane travel and other advantages. Baltkran put into operation a high-duty double girder container crane capacity 45 t with rotating trolley at intermodal terminal of Vladivostok in 2010. Baltkran has manufactured about 20 cranes for Far East for last 15 years.
